A Collaborative Approach

Field Capacity is a down to earth operation forming part of an industry cohort comprised of professionals with specialized expertise in the fields of agricultural production, soil science, plant physiology, microbiology and landscape ecology.  We combine our collective knowledge and experience to conduct research and development initiatives resulting in the deployment of innovative practices which optimize the economic and environmental performance of our clients. 

Scott is the Managing Director and Principle Consultant of Field Capacity.  Since graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree after studying biological and earth sciences Scott has gained extensive experience in agriculture, mining and natural resource management.  Much of his work has involved the development of sustainable land management practices which not only increase the water and nutrient uptake of plants but also conserve and restore soils in both agricultural landscapes and disturbed sites.

Tristan is Field Capacity's Senior Consultant.  His experience in  irrigated horticulture and broadacre agriculture provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the agricultural industry.  Tristan has a background in crop production, plant breeding, research and development as well as agricultural economics.  His pragmatic approach ensures that clients achieve maximum profitability  through optimization of their production systems.
